What are our normal business hours?

Thum insurance Agency LLC is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our office is open from 9 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. We do close our office to observe the standard National Holidays.

Can you fax me an ID card?

If you send an email to info@thuminsurance.com or call us at 800-866-0777 during our normal operating hours of 9 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, and provide us with a fax number or email address. Under most circumstances we are able to fax or email to you a copy of your ID card right away. If you prefer to receive it through the mail just let us know and we will accommodate your request. Certificates of Insurance can take up to 24 hours to generate, so please request them with enough lead time. We will be able to email, fax or mail you the requested Certificates of Insurance.

What commercial products to you write?

When is my payment due?

You can send an email to info@thuminsurance.com or call us at 800-866-0777 during our normal operating hours of 8 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, and we will be able to tell you when your next payment is due and what amount will be due at that time. You can also call your carrier directly for their automated system.

Are there payment plans available or do I have to pay the policy in full?

Each carrier has their own guidelines for payment plan options. For almost all policies there are multiple payment plans available. Please contact our office at 800-866-0777 to speak with an agent to find out what plans are available for your specific policy.

Can I be set-up for monthly EFT?

Most carriers do have an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program available. This varies by carrier and by product. Please contact our office at 800-866-0777 to find out if the EFT program is available for your specific policy.

I am changing my registration from one state to another, what do I do now?

We can write business in all 50 states, so contact us directly to start the rewrite process. In most cases we will need to cancel your current policy and rewrite the policy under the requirements of the new registration state. Each state has its own coverage requirements that must be satisfied in your policy. To comply with each state’s guidelines, it is necessary to cancel and start a new policy.
